I personally feel that the most difficult element of producing our draft video was the planning of the video. As our video planned to go to Birmingham we found it difficult to get all the band members free at the same time, as filming our music video would take a full day. As the deadline drew nearer our decision was very last minute and the planning concerning the camera and other equipment or lack of it for example a tripod. Despite the lack of planning the actuall filming went really well. At the end of the days filming we had gathered together some really good footage and had stuck to our storyboard really well.
From the filming of our draft video we have learnt that it is essential to plan everything throughoughly, this will hopefully pay of with filming of our final video, as the we will have a tripod and a better quality camera which will make the video look much more professional. We will also plan filming sessions much more in advance, this will give each band member more time to arrange timings and ensure that they are available. This essential as each bandmember is doing me and Tom a big favour and we have to remember that there is nothing in this for them, for their help we are very greatful!
